Marc Berghaus is a sculptor, sound artist and photographer currently living in the tiny western Kansas town of Meade. He has exhibited work throughout the Midwest and western United States, as well as nationally and, (barely), internationally. He has shown work in many Denver venues, including Denver University, Foothills Art Center, Colorado Photographic Arts Center, the Arvada Center for the Arts, Artyard Sculpture Gallery, and Sandy Carson/van Straaten Gallery. His sculpture, photography and installations have long dealt with questions of chance, spirituality, and causality; and have more recently investigated human perceptions of our environments, whether natural, built, or media. Berghaus graduated from the University of Kansas in 1991 with a BA in East Asian History.
